PDS Planning is proud to be named to the 2020 Columbus Business First Corporate Citizenship Top 100 list. PDS came in as the 8th smallest company on the list of 100, making the accomplishment a true testament of the spirit of philanthropy that permeates the company and each of its employees. To carry forward our mission of giving, we founded PDS CARES, our charitable foundation in 2015. It is with great humility that we serve our wonderful clients, and PDS CARES is our way of trying to honor those individuals who have selflessly served their own communities over the years. PDS CARES is used to match our employee’s charitable gifts, provide them each a pool of money with which to make discretionary gifts, as well as allow us to make company-identified gifts to the community. Central Ohio is a community that strives to help those in need, and PDS CARES affords us an opportunity to participate in making a positive impact.
2020 has been a challenge for so many, and this past Tuesday presented a wonderful opportunity to grant money to the Gifts of Kindness Fund at The Columbus Foundation, with the Foundation matching the first $2.5 million contributed. PDS CARES made a $2,500 grant to this effort and coupled with the generosity of The Columbus Foundation, knows this money will help many families in need during the holiday season.
