Coronavirus (COVID-19)

UPDATE 3/18/2020

As our health officials and local, state, & federal government continue to provide guidance to businesses, including recommended guidelines to limit social interactions to 10 people or less, we have made the decision to move to a temporary virtual office environment. This move is being made with an abundance of caution for the well-being of our employees. Many of our employees work from home as family obligations require from time to time, and we have invested heavily in the technology that has allowed us to do this for the past several years so we anticipate a smooth transition to this temporary status. Should you need to contact us, please do not hesitate to email us or call our office phone at (614) 481-8449. You will be prompted with our names and extensions. Having already suspended in-person meetings, this temporary change should not further affect our communication with you. As we said Monday, we are steadfast in our commitment to our employees, clients, and communities. These are unprecedented times and though logic is far more productive than emotion, the latter is often granted the majority of power. Our objective is to provide a rationale voice to counter the natural emotions we all feel. We have worked collaboratively with you to build a process and framework by which we can make informed decisions. We will continue to keep our focus on the accomplishment of your long-term goals. Most importantly, we wish you and your loved ones safety and good health.

PDS Planning, Inc., in response to the recent Coronavirus outbreak will be taking the following steps to ensure a fluid continuity of business while protecting the health of our valued employees and clients. As an office that can operate virtually, employees of PDS are required to stay home if they exhibit any symptoms of illness. They are further permitted to work from home if they need to for any personal reasons. Our offices will remain open as of this time and we will continue to monitor the situation and follow the leadership of health officials, and our local, state, & national government. Though the office will remain open, we are currently suspending any in-person meetings, but will conduct those via phone and/or screen sharing. Please follow up with your advisory team if you have any questions about already-scheduled meetings. Aside from meetings, we encourage you to reach out to us with any questions and concerns you may have. We recognize that this is a stressful time and our role is to listen to your concerns, and use our knowledge, experience, and resources to provide you the same counsel we always have – advising you in your best interests. Our focus is on the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and communities that we live and work in. That has been our focus since 1985 and will continue with relentless pursuit as we face the challenges of today and beyond. We send our best wishes to you and your loved ones and are here to serve as you need us.
