PDS Planning Recognized as One of Ohio’s Most Generous Companies
PDS Planning is proud to once again be named to the Columbus Business First Corporate Citizenship Top 100 list. This annual ranking recognizes the generosity of the Central Ohio business community who gives the most cash contributions to local nonprofit organizations.
This recognition is a testament to the spirit of philanthropy that permeates the company and each of its employees. “Inspired by the generous acts of kindness our clients display every day,” PDS Planning “is committed to giving back to the communities we live and work in” explains Shareholder and Wealth Manager, Jamie Menges, CFP®, CPA.
PDS is so committed to this mission of giving that in 2015 the firm established PDS CARES, a charitable fund with the Columbus Foundation. PDS CARES is used to match employees’ charitable gifts by providing each team member with a pool of money with which to make discretionary gifts, as well as allow us to make company-identified gifts to the community.
Through December 2021, the company has pledged over $116,000 of contributions while giving more than $60,000 to 100+ local charities through PDS Cares. “Being recognized by Columbus Business First as one of central Ohio’s Most Generous Companies is a testament to our employees and their desire to give back,” says Menges. Moreover, he notes, “We look forward to continuing this good work in the years to come.”
