You’re Invited to Beautyview Gardens 2022

Beautyview Gardens in Columbus, Ohio is a registered display garden of the American Daylily Society. Our gardens offer a spectacular display of colors, shapes, and sizes. We feature many hardy plants from Ohio hybridizers, new and recent introductions from around the country, and even a special Cat collection. In addition to more than 400 varieties of daylilies (with 40 new plants this year), visitors will find hundreds of hostas, native perennials and plants that attract butterflies and hummingbirds, as well as many containers of tropical and annual plants.
2022 has been a challenging year weather-wise, with snow in April and late frosts here in May, but the gardens always come through with beautiful displays. With Covid restrictions over, masks are not necessary during your visit. Peak bloom is usually the first 2-3 weeks of July.
This year we have five planned open garden times.
- Monday, July 4 from 10 to 2
- Saturday, July 9 from 9:30 to 1:30
- Sunday, July 10 from 9:30 to 1:30
- Monday, July 18 from 9:30 to 12 Noon
- Thursday, July 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM
If the above times do not work for you, call us. We may open the gardens during other times, and that will be announced on our Facebook page (Beautyview-Gardens, see below). In the event of inclement weather, check our Facebook page for updates. We will have a list of the cultivars in our garden, as well as recommendations for our favorite local garden centers and the best places to buy quality daylilies.
We are glad to schedule visits and events for garden clubs. We are also available to present programs on daylilies and gardening for your club meetings. These fun, interactive, programs almost always include plant giveaways in the summer. Call 614-565-8470 to schedule a time for these programs.
