PDS has participated in the Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake FUNdraiser benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Central Ohio for the last two years. This event is BBBS’ largest fundraising effort providing more than 10% of its annual operating budget.
BBBS provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better. Research has proven the unquestionable benefits of mentoring, and the need for these types of programs continue to grow at an unprecedented rate. BBBS helps transform the lives of children who are most at-risk, and inspire them to become confident, competent and caring individuals in our community.
Lori Brown, AVP of Corporate Relations/Events at BBBS, commented on PDS’ support, “We are thrilled with the overwhelming amount of support that we received from the community and are proud that we have so many companies willing to fundraise for us. We would not be able to hit our goal without the fun and creativity that groups put into planning their campaigns and we truly appreciate all of the hard work that goes into making Bowl for Kids’ Sake a success!”
