More than two decades ago, Paul Newman had a vision: imagine if children living with serious illnesses had the chance to simply be children. To just have fun. So he started a camp where kids could, in his words, “raise a little hell.” Today, Paul’s legacy is continued with Serious Fun Children’s Network, a growing global community of independently managed and financed camps and programs. Our dedicated team helps children and their families reach beyond illness to discover joy, confidence and a new world of possibilities—always free of charge.
Taking a quote directly from Rob, and what this program means to him, “It has year-round, and summer camps for children with chronic and life threatening illnesses. My wife and I met as counselors at a camp in Florida (Boggy Creek) 17 years ago. There is now the Flying Horse Farms Camp just north of Columbus, OH. The corporation’s vision and deliverable experience for children and families is unparalleled!”
